Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, visited the prestigious Military Intelligence Training School & Depot (MINTSD) in Pune, where he interacted with officers undergoing the 14th Intelligence Staff Course (ISC-14).
During his address, the Army Commander engaged in thought-provoking discussions on the rapidly changing global security environment and contemporary operational challenges. He emphasised the critical need for cognitive dominance in emerging battlefields, noting that future conflicts will demand sharper intellect, adaptability, and seamless integration across services.
Highlighting the role of knowledge-driven leadership, Lt Gen Sengupta urged participants to embrace adaptive thinking, foster jointness, and develop innovative approaches to military intelligence. He reiterated that a strong foundation in strategic education and operational excellence is imperative to prepare future-ready professionals capable of meeting complex security challenges.
Officials said his visit reinforced the Armyโs focus on nurturing intellectual agility and strengthening Indiaโs military intelligence capabilities in line with evolving warfare dynamics.
