Major General Gautam Mahajan, Sena Medal, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), delivered the keynote address at the World Conference on Cutting Edge Science & Technology 2025. The event, jointly hosted by SAGE University, Indore, and IEEE Madhya Pradesh, brought together global experts to deliberate on disruptive technologies shaping the future.
In his address, Maj Gen Mahajan underscored the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, 5G/6G communications, Quantum Computing, and indigenous VLSI and chip design. He emphasized their strategic applications in defence, industry, and national development, highlighting the necessity of strengthening Defence–Academia–Industry collaboration.
Reinforcing the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, the General stressed that harnessing these technologies is vital for building a future-ready India, both in terms of security and economic progress.
