Lieutenant General Deepak Ahuja has taken over as the new Director General Ordnance Services (DGOS), marking a significant milestone in the leadership of the Indian Armyโs logistics backbone.
Upon assuming the prestigious appointment, the General Officer paid solemn tribute to the fallen heroes of the nation by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial, New Delhi, honouring the supreme sacrifice of the Bravehearts who laid down their lives in service of the country.
Addressing the Corps of Ordnance after taking charge, Lt Gen Ahuja exhorted all ranks to uphold the rich legacy of selfless service, dedication, and professionalism that the corps has exemplified since its inception. He emphasised the need to transform the Army Ordnance Corps into a cutting-edge, responsive, and technology-enabled logistics provider, aligned with the evolving needs of a modern and future-ready Indian Army.
The appointment of Lt Gen Deepak Ahuja as DGOS is expected to further strengthen the Corpsโ critical role in ensuring operational readiness, seamless logistics support, and mission success across the length and breadth of the nation.
