Lieutenant General Padam Singh Shekhawat, General Officer Commanding, Madhya Bharat Area, visited Headquarters Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area to review operational preparedness, training standards, logistics resilience, and welfare initiatives for veterans and Veer Naris.
During the visit, Lt Gen Shekhawat was briefed on the formation’s initiatives and achievements across its Area of Responsibility (AOR). The presentations highlighted significant progress in modernising administrative procedures, enhancing logistical sustainability, and streamlining support mechanisms for both serving personnel and ex-servicemen.

Commending the professionalism and dedication of all ranks, the GOC lauded the troops for maintaining high standards of operational readiness and discipline. He stressed the need for continuous innovation, mission focus, and collective accountability in addressing evolving security challenges and ensuring national preparedness.

Lt Gen Shekhawat’s visit reaffirmed the formation’s alignment with the Indian Army’s dual mission maintaining combat effectiveness and strengthening compassionate outreach to veterans and Veer Naris. His interaction served as a motivation for all ranks to uphold the Army’s enduring ethos of service, dedication, and duty towards the nation.
