ADGPI reply regarding Indian Army Career Website

1
ADGPI Indian Army

We all know that condition of Indian Army Career Website joinindianarmy.nic.in is not up to the mark, most of the candidates are facing difficulty while applying for TGC, AEC, TES etc online, this website is not able to handle online application process smoothly which leads to confusion among aspirants. Also, the usability of the website is poor and candidates are struggling while pulling out any information from the website, like SSB interview dates, procedure etc. Finally we have got some response from ADGPI Indian Army.

One of my friend and defence aspirant, Mr. Vinay had lodged a complaint on 28 December 2012, since then, there was hardly any effort or feedback he has got from the concerned authority. This action was taken at the time of TGC 117 entry after experiencing the errors on the website, only to make sure that it would be rectified for next entries.
Sadly, aspirants have faced the same problem in TGC 118 and may face it again in SSC-42th Tech and SSCW-13th Tech. You may find some relevant documents below.

Rahul Got Recommended in TES 29 Entry

2

Hello friends I am Rahul Mahala from Rajasthan and I got recommended from 20 SSB Bhopal on 7 April 2013 for 10+2 TES Course-29 and it was my 3rd attempt! I would first like to tell you about my previous two attempts. my first attempt was for NDA-128 my SSB center was BHOPAL and board was 22 SSB I got Recommended in that attempt but unfortunately I got merit and my 2nd attempt was for TES-28 and I got  conference out in that. So I was going Bhopal 2nd time and was fully confident to repeat the performance of first time. In this attempt my main focus was on not to repeat the mistakes of second attempt. Now I am sharing my 5 day experience at the board.

SSB Screening

I reported on 2 April at the SSB and round 170 candidates were there and I was the biggest repeater there and after the documentation I was allotted chest no 155. Next day non verbal and verbal tests were conducted and I attempted maximum no of them  and the next task was PPDT! We were shown a hazy picture, as I was sitting I last It was blur, but I saw a man holding a rifel   and I made the story around naxalite and how my hero sabotage the plans of naxalite.  During the group discussion I spoke 3-4 times and added points to the group story and motivated other group members for adding points in discussion after screening total of 50 were screened in and my chest no was 20.
ssb interview experience

SSB Psychological Tests

Next day Psych tests were there. In TAT we were shown quite pressure situations and I wrote simple and did not try to fake out. WAT was good and wrote around 54 sentences out of 60. SRT were also good as I gave logical responses I attempted 57 SRT’s out of 60. SD was good as I have practiced it before and wrote my positive and negative points. I gave a true representation of myself in the SD.
ssb interview experience

GTO Tests

GTO tasks were next on schedule, I was little tensed as my room was not with my group members and so I was not able to spend time with my group. I decided to support my group in every task as GTO was a series of group task. GTO testing started with GD and I spoke 4 times in both the GD’s and gave chance to each group members. Same was my procedure in GPE but while discussion our group was not able to decide a common group plan as there was a bit quarrel among the members . I wrote a very practical plan and in gd I gave 2 very practical solutions. Next was PGT and I think that was an easy PGT up to obstacle no 2 but when we reach 3rd obstacle we all got trapped and there was little clash of ideas among the members and group was not listening to my ideas at that point GTO stood up and told us to implement idea instead of talking, we implemented my idea and crossed the obstacle. HGT was also good . Lecturette was just fine and I spoke for the whole 3 mins. CT was the real test1 was called  and the GTO Sir had a brief interview with me for 5 mins regarding my previous attempts. He gave me CT and I did it well. In individual obstacles I completed 10 out of 10 and repeated IO no 9. FGT was normal.
tes+29+ssb+recommended+candidate

SSB Personal Interviews

My Interview was taken by Dy president IO.  Interview was smooth. This was the first time I was satisfied with my interview . I gave the answers of all the questions after thinking for some time .I was not impatient in answering. I was asked 2 rapid fire in which all the questions were asked and apart form that GK and technical questions were put in front of me. I gave the answers of tech questions but was not able to answer many GK questions. I also admitted that my GK was not good and I have to work on it. On an average I was satisfied with my performance.

SSB Conference

Before conference I made sure that I know all the answers of the questions which I didn’t answered in the interview. I had to wait 10 minutes before entering the conference hall. this time I was not nervous .As I entered the hall I found that all the officers were in UNIFORM and was difficult to distinguish. I was smiling and kept the same smile throughout. I was asked GK question I answer some but stuck in few, Dpty president told me that  I have to work on this and told me that was GK part was very weak . When I walked out of the conference hall I was little nervous due to the comments of Dypt. BUT when the result came the second chest no was 20 I was recommended for the ARMY that was the happiest moment of my life. Total of 5 were selected out of 50. It had subtle feeling at time. During medicals I was declared unfit for EYE (ADS) and cardiac murmar. I my appeal medical board my luck did not supported me and  was given permanent rejection in EYE . I AM CURRENTLY UNDEGOING TREATMENT AND WILL AGAIN APPLY FOR UES AS MY AGE FOR TES IS EXCEEDED.
SO MT QUEST FOR INDIA’S TOP ORGANISATION (INDIAN ARMY) CONT….One thing I want to say is never lose hope and one day I will also achieve my AIM.
Jai Hind.
