Ace fighter pilot Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari has been appointed as the next chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF) succeeding Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria who retires from service on September 30. Chaudhari is presently the Vice Chief of Air Staff and has been an ace MiG-29 pilot expert in major MiG-29 fighter aircraft.
He was the chief of the Western Air Command from August 1, 2020. He was commissioned into Fighter Stream of the IAF on December 29, 1982, as a fighter pilot and has served nearly 39 years. He has flown a wide variety of fighter and trainer aircraft with a flying experience of more than 3800 hours.

Indian Navy has officially published the 10+2 (B.TECH) CADET ENTRY SCHEME (PERMANENT COMMISSION) Notification for which the course is going to commence in Jan 2022. Applications are invited from UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES (fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt. of India) to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala for a four year B.Tech degree course under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme.
The selected candidates will be distributed among Education, Executive and Technical branches of Indian Navy on completion of their course at INA. The branch-wise vacancies are as under.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
IHQ of MoD(Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR) – 2021. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from Oct– Nov 2021.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail or through SMS as provided by candidates in their application form. You are advised to maintain your mobile number and e-mail ID till selection process is complete.
SSB interview will be conducted in two stages. Stage I test consists of Intelligence test, Picture Perception and Group Discussion. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview which will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 working days).
TRAINING: Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit, will be selected for training in Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala, based on All India Merit and number of vacancies. Two pilots were injured after an Army helicopter force-landed near Patnitop in Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The pilots were being evacuated, an Army spokesperson said, adding further details were being ascertained.
“Today, during a training sortie in the Patnitop area, the Indian Army Cheetah Helicopter crash-landed in the Shiv Garh Dhar area in Udhampur district,” the Army added.
The officer said the chopper either crashed or crash-landed on a hill. “Search parties have been rushed to the area, but it will take around one and a half hour to reach there by foot. Dense fog in the area is making it difficult for the searchers to pin point exact location,” he added.
Indian army’s official career website is going to publish the JAG 28 Notification from 29 Sep 2021 onward, the last date to apply for the JAG 28 is 28th October 2021. JAG 28th course JAG entry 2022 (Judge Advocate General Branch) will commence in April 2022 at OTA Chennai. It is a special entry for male and female law graduates to join the JAG branch of the Indian Army.
JAG 28 Notification: Applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female LAW GRADUATES for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Branch.
Nationality: A candidate must either be: (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) A subject of Nepal, (iii) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.
JAG 28Age Limit: 21 to 27 years as on 01 Jan 2022 (Born not earlier than 02 Jan 1995 and not later than 01 Jan 2001; both dates inclusive).
JAG Educational Qualification: Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.
JAG 28 Vacancies: To be decided.
Tenure of Engagement: Short Service Commission will be granted to Male and Female in the regular Army for 14 years i.e. for an initial period of 10 years extendable by a further period of 04 years. Male & Female officers who are willing to continue to serve in the Army after the expiry of period of ten years of Short Service Commission may, if eligible and suitable in all respects, be considered for the grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in the 10th year of their Short Service Commission in accordance with the relevant policies as issued from time to time. Those SSC officers (Male & Female) who are not selected for grant of PC but are otherwise considered fit and suitable, will be given options to continue as SSCOs for a total period of 14 years (including the initial tenure of 10 years) on expiry of which they will be released from the Army.
Period of Probation: An officer will be on probation for a period of 6 months from the date he/she receives his/her commission. If he/she is reported on within the probationary period as unsuitable to retain his/her commission, his/her services may be terminated any time whether before or after the expiry of the probationary period.
Training: Duration of training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai.
Selected candidates will be detailed for Pre-Commission training at OTA, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit, up to the number of available vacancies, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor will he/she be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Officers Training Academy. A candidate, who marries subsequent to the date of his/her application, though successful at the Services Selection Board interview and medical examination, will not be eligible for training. Indian army is going to publish the notification for SSC Tech 58 men and SSC Tech 29 women for the course commencing at OTA Chennai from April 2022. Eligible engineering graduates can apply for the SSC Tech 58 and SSCW Tech 29 from 28th September 2021 and the last date for the online application is 27th October 2021. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 April 2021 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.

Cost of Training: The entire cost of training at OTA is at Government expense. In case the Lady/ Gentleman Cadet is withdrawn from training academy due to reasons other than medical ground or the reasons not beyond his/ her control, he/ she will be liable to refund cost of training @ ₹ 11,952/- per week, thereafter a yearly escalation of 8% p.a. will be calculated on the Per Capita Cost of Training for each ensuing year (or as notified from time to time) apart from allied charges as fixed by the government from time to time, for the period of his/ her stay at OTA, Chennai.
The final allocation of Arms/Services will be made prior to passing out of Lady/Gentleman cadets from OTA, Chennai and will be at the sole discretion of Integrated HQ Ministry of Defence (Army) keeping in view the existing policy. The candidate will not have any objection in the event of his/her final selection on allotment of any arms/service in the interest of the organization. No representation is tenable on this account.

Objective Of Blank Slide
After writing 11 stories, your subconscious mind would have started working.
The psychologist wants to test your OLQs through the blank slide.
It also tests your true reactions when under pressure.
It can also show some desire you have for your society or the environment you live in.
Connect the story to yourself as closely as possible.
Practice some stories beforehand so that you are well prepared. But feel comfortable to change your prepared story incase better ideas come to mind during the test.
How To Write A Good Story For Blank Slide

The blank story must show your true qualities.
Candidates can also show their aim in life through this story and actions taken by them to achieve it.

Shreya is a 26-year-old student residing in Delhi. Once on her visit back to her village near Hisar, Haryana, she observes that the economic condition of the farmers there was very poor, and they lead a poor quality of life. With the permission of the Sarpanch of the village, she holds a meeting with the farmers. She advises them that they should set up and run cottage industries and that every 2 households should come together for the same. Listening to her advice, while some start pottery, many also get into hand loom weaving. This initiative helps to double overall profits of most families and hence, leads to overall upliftment of the area.

SERVICE ENTRY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE A VACCINATION CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY MH FOR TWO DOSES AND ARE ASYMPTOMATIC ON ARRIVAL WILL BE EXEMPTED FROM CARRYING A NEGATIVE RTPCR REPORT WEF 20 SEP 2021.
ALL CANDIDATES (INCLUDING SERVICE ENTRY CANDIDATES) WHO DO NOT POSSESS THE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQD TO PRODUCE RTPCR NEGATIVE REPORT AS IN VOGUE. THE RTPCR TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED WITHIN 72 HRS OF REPORTING AT THE SELECTION CENTRE.
