CDS 1 2015 Notification is out now. Union Public Service Commission invited application for Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2015. UPSC has recently published the CDS 1 2015 notification and CDS 1 2015 written examination will be conducted by UPSC on 5th Feb, 2015, for admission to the Army, Air Force wings and Navy of the IMA for the 140 Course and SSC 103 Men, SSCW 17th Women OTA, 199th Flying Course and Naval Academy commencing from January and April 2016 respectively.

Am I eligible for CDS 1 2015?
- Qualification Required for CDSE 1 2015:
- IMA- Male: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
- IAF- Male: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
- OTA- Male and Female: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
- NA- Male: B.Sc (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age for CDS 1 2015:
- Indian Military Academy Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd Jan,1992 and not later than 1st Jan,1997
- Naval Academy Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd Jan, 1992 and not later than 1st Jan, 1997
- Air Force Academy Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd Jan, 1992 and not later than 1st Jan, 1996
- Officer’s Training Academy Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier 2nd Jan, 1991 and not later than 1st Jan, 1997
- Officer’s Training Academy Female candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier 2nd Jan, 1991 and not later than 1st Jan, 1997.
CDS 1 2015 Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 200 Only for General and OBC candidates while SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. The candidates can opt for net banking or by depositing the money in cash.
CDS 1 2015 Selection Procedure
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written examination followed by Interview/Personality Test.
Important Points
- The result of the written part of the examination is likely to be declared in the month of June July, 2015.

Hello Admin. I am B.E. (Mechanical) with 62% aggregate.If I apply for SSC non-tech through CDSE, do I have any chance to opt for Technical course during training as per my qualifications? I asked this because the cutoff for TGC and SSC Tech is higher , so I m not eligible. Please comment.
