With the onset of a new year, we all have look for a fresh start – a fresh start in our lives to bring about a change in ourselves which we couldn’t have accomplished the last year. Years come and years go and there is only one thing that follows – your hard work, your preparations and your commitment.

So, this New Year, we bring the resolutions for defence aspirants that could help you set your goals right with right intentions:

  1. Clear Those Written Exams: The foremost thing to set your goal on is clearing with those NDA/CDSE/AFCAT examinations. It’s not just about making a resolution about it, it’s about working towards it regularly and consistently.
  1. Become more social: You get to have fun, meet new people and find out interesting things, but you can also develop leadership skills and learn to work in a team. Even if you are an introvert or very shy and feel uncomfortable talking to others, there are ways to become a fairly active member of a community.
  1. Improve your concentration and mental skills: Aspirants have been trying to find ways to improve their focus and cognitive capacities. The key here is mental exercise and meditation to help you reach this goal.   1. Become more organized: It doesn’t matter how much time you have on your hands if you can’t manage it properly – you’ll just spend most of the day running around aimlessly.   1. Get more quality sleep: You should be gunning for at least 6 hours of sleep a night, and there are fairly simple ways to achieve this number if you make use of science and everyday hacks. This is the most important part of preparing for anything.
  1. Start writing a that book/journal: Even if it is just a few random thoughts scribbled daily in a journal, you shouldn’t be afraid to give writing a go with a few tips and tricks. And New Year is a good start for a new book.
