As per TGC-118 notification, eligible branches for TGC-118 entry would be same as TGC-117. Indian army has included branches like IT, EEE and Instrumentation for TGC-118. TGC-118 course is a technical entry course in the Indian army for technical graduates, training for TGC-118 course happens in Indian Military Academy [IMA-Dehradun] for one year.

From recent entries it is evident that now Indian Army would consider IT, EEE and other included branches for future technical entries like TGC-119 and SSC-42th and SSC-13th technical. But, this may reduce the number of vacancies as happened in the merit list of SSC-11th technical women.

Cut off for TGC-118
Cut off marks for TGC and SSC-tech is generally declared by Indian Army at the time of publishing the ssb interview dates for shortlisted candidates.There is not cut off marks while applying for TGC-118, so any candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for TGC-118, but like most of the time, cut off for TGC-118 would go near 62- 63% up to six semester like TGC-117.

depending up on the number of applications received by them the % may vary ,there is no particular cut off its only kept to shortlist candidates to control the candidates strengths in the ssb bords
