Selection Centre East Allahabad

Selection Centre East (SCE) is situated in the city of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is the Selection Center for the Indian Army.

SCE has got five boards of Indian Army, which are 11 SSB,14 SSB,18 SSB,19 SSB and 34 SSB. SCE has got a good atmosphere with all modern facilities like STD, Mess, Olive Green Restaurant, outdoor and indoor games, medical facilities, good dormitories, facilities of waterman etc. There is ATM in the vicinity as well. Candidates who have applied for CDSE, NDA, 10+2 Teach Entry of Army, SSC-Tech and TGC etc. can get this selection center.

Allahabad is a city of many dimensions. It holds both historical and religious importance. The city is termed as Prayag, as it is situated in the confluence of three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Many important events in India’s struggle for freedom, took place here – the emergence of the first Indian National Congress in 1885, the beginning of Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violence movement in 1920.The confluence of history, culture and religion makes Allahabad, a unique city.

Places of interest in Allahabad include Civil Lines, which is the commercial area of the city, Prayag, which is the confluence of the three rivers, Minto Garden, Anand Bhawan, Patalpuri Temple, Hanuman Temple, Agharkar museum, Allahabad Museum, Chandrasekhar Azad Park etc.

This city is well connected with rail and road and also by air with major cities of India. There is bus service from the Civil Lines Bus stand to the nearby cities like Lucknow, Kanpur etc. There are trains and flights from almost all corners of the country for this city. You have to de-board from flight at Bamrauli Airport.

Since the reporting point for the candidates is the Railway station hence it is advised to them to stay near the railway station. There are a number of hotels and lodges with nominal fair and decent services which you can go for.
