Selection Centre South Bangalore

Selection Center South (SCS) is situated in Bangalore, which is the capital of the state Karnataka. This center has boards for Indian Army and Indian Navy.

This is a centre for both Army and Navy officer Selection. It has got two boards for Army, 17 SSB and 24 SSB and one board for Navy that is 12 SSB. SCS is equipped with good facilities to make a comfortable and memorable stay for the candidates. It has got Indoor and out games, excellent dormitories, mess, canteen, CSD facility, Telephone, Internet, Reading, TV etc. There are local markets nearby hence there is facility of ATM in the vicinity. Candidates who apply for different types of entries of Army and Navy may get an SSB here, like the CDSE, Naval entries, 10+2 B.Tech etc.

Historical monuments in Bangalore include Bangalore Fort, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Palace and Mayo Hall. The city has many IT Parks such as ITPL, Manyata Tech Park, Bagmane Tech Park, Global Village Tech Park. Bangalore Metro is also an attraction.

There are numerous trains connecting Bangalore with the rest of India. There is train service available from the Bangalore station to other parts of India. By road Bangalore is connected to Pune, Mysore etc. The Bus stand is called Majestic.

There are flights connecting Bangalore to other parts of Indian as well. The Bengaluru International Airport is the Airport for Bangalore.

Since the reporting point for the candidates is the Railway station hence it is advised to them to stay near the railway station. There are a number of hotels and lodges with nominal fair and decent services which you can go for. There is advance booking option available for many hotel and you can book them by phone or through internet.
