“You only live once, but if you do it right once is enough”. Life is really small and you should learn to enjoy every bit of it. Experts say you never know that you will return in the same form back again or not so leave nothing for future. Live every moment now and now only. There would be different pleasures for different people and they drive motivation from different sources. Some drive pleasure in serving my motherland while some enjoy luxury in the life provided without doing anything productive. Defence is such a job which not only makes you earn living it makes you earns a real respect which no other job fetches you.
To get this job with officer cadre where you have the biggest responsibility to protect the motherland and citizens without bothering about your comfort, there needs to be a special test which judges you thoroughly in and out and then gives you any such responsibility. SSB is one such exam which judges all your capabilities and tests you for the hardships, pleasures that you will be driving in different terrains protecting and working with a dream in mind and where each second of your life will be devoted to others. Its a exam everyone should give, go and attend once in life time because i am very sure that if you had the courage to visit that place once you will be ready for lifetime to give SSB. Whosoever is selected on the screening day and spends their five days there complains of a positive change that happens with the complete transformation of the personality.
Five day stint at SSB is full of different exams which are designed differently to judge the best of the best and retain them as officers. Moreover who are rejected also at the conference day learn a lot of lessons that are useful for the life. When you move out of that place, you are a changed personality because:
