Indian air force has recently published the result of AFCAT 2 2015 written exam, candidates can check their AFCAT 2 result 2015 and find out the marks they have scored in AFCAT 2 2015 written exam by login at careerairforce.nic.in. This time the official cut off is higher than last few AFCAT exam.
Based on the induction requirements of the IAF, performance of candidates in AFCAT as well as statistics of reporting and success rates at AFSBs, the cut off marks for AFCAT 2/ 2015 held on 13 Sep 15 is 144/ 300 for AFCAT and 52/ 150 for EKT. Only those candidates who have cleared both AFCAT and EKT will be considered for Technical Branch. All candidates may login to their account to view their individual AFCAT/ EKT Marks.

AFCAT 2016 Syllabus
Below is the latest syllabus of AFCAT 2016 exam which has four main sections with topics as mentioned below:
- General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.
- Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.
- Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.
- Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.

I just wanted to bring one point in light.
In the exam centre,there was some airforce guys giving exam too,
But they cheated a lot and the officers posted in the exam room didn’t stopped them.
Even some junior officers were coming in exam halls and helping their guys with the answers slowly.
I have cleared the written exam,but a lot of hard working aspirants may have missed their selection due to this rubbish.
So just share this so that it may acknowlege the fact to all that afcat is a exam for true people who really want to serve their nation.so dont jeoperdize their dreams and future.

Why am i not selected? If selected, how do i select ssb dates? If not why not ? I think i cleared afcat.. any ideas?

i think you are not selected because maybe you have selected only the technical branch and failing in ekt would render candidates ineligible for technical branch
Hello people, i am facing a problem. My AFCAT score is 153. Ekt score 46. Mechanical. But i cannot select interview for ssb. Why so? No.options for selecting dates are coming fter i logged in. Does that mean i am not selected? Why so?

Whts your age? U might b eligile for technical course, as u are not qualified in ekt.
Aur u might only have given technical as preference.
My dob is 14/12/1993. My age is 21 now. No i didn’t only give technical as preference. I am sure. There is some problem. This is simply not done.

yes the problem is u only selected technical course in the preferences and didnt clear ekt so now u are not eligible for afsb..next time exercise all the choices u get..don’t just fill technical

I think that is because all the seats are already taken by candidates. Now, as you have failed to reserve your seat on time, they people will contact you and will allot the venue of their choice.

ekt cut off zero marks meaning in afcat 2 2015
i got 38 marks in ekt(electrical and electronics) but cut off marks zero dikhara hae.

Its a technical glitch bro. In d pdf it is clearly stated that cut off for EKT is 52. Refer the pdf
