5 Habits For A Productive Lifestyle

Summer is at its peak and many of us are enjoying our vacations,by sitting idle on our bed, surfing “how to succeed in life?” Interesting thing is there are about 13,30,00,000 search results for this question, but the fact is that the answer lies within you.
Striking straight, there are some good habits that one should adapt in order to become a better human,be it physically ,mentally or emotionally. All these habits are scientifically proved tonic for your personality.

1. Read books :

Reading books or reading anything that is worth a read is one of the healthiest habit for your brain. It will not just provide you refuge from your hectic schedule, but will also increase your knowledge. Try to read something which could be beneficial for you in your career or life, because reading love stories won’t bring you any angel anyway. Reading expands your vocabulary which will surely make you write your thoughts in better and apt words. It boosts up imagination power as well, all this would subsequently give you better grades in PPDT and WAT.

2.Travel

One of the most common traits of youngsters is to travel. No doubt one of the best way to cherish life is to travel as much as possible, but your purpose matters a lot. Don’t head for any travel destination just to party hard, there better reasons for which you should travel. Trekking, paragliding ,scuba diving and what not. Explore new place and people, you’ll learn something from everything and everyone. Travelling adventure will not just give you memories but feel of satisfaction and a break from routine life as well.

3. Improve your language:

Be it your mother tongue or English, try to improve it. There’ll be self-description test and some other written test in SSB,and to make it appreciable, one must know how to play with words. And one simply cannot learn without practising it. For example,I feel I am very week in English and if you didn’t notice that I wrote week instead of weak then both of us are sailing in the same boat. In my first blog I’ve used “stucked”, which is not even a word, from that day I Google words I am not sure about before I write them. So improve your language for better expression of your thoughts and to leave an impression just by words and or the way you use them.

4. Physical Exercise

Yeh pata sabko hai par karta koi nahi :p If you are over weight then exercise and lose some fat, it will boost your confidence for sure. Exercising daily could raise your immunity and it helps your immune system to combat many diseases. Apart from that it also stimulates chemicals in your brain which could make you feel relaxed and refreshing.

5.Learn to say ” NO”

Once a wise man…said nothing. In other words learn how to ignore which is not required or which reduces peace of your mind. There is a process given on WIKI HOW on how to say NO,that too in 5 steps :p it’s on Quora as well, what I am trying to imply here  is that there is a reason why so many people are asking…because it is very important. Don’t indulge into discussion where there is no sense. With Twitter, Facebook etc everyone is just a click away to express their thoughts, but it doesn’t mean you are supposed to listen. Always apply common sense when dealing with people and look for the shortest way to end the argument or to make it least complicated. Debating over who is better actor or football player won’t make you any better. There is a famous quotation “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience”. So filter the waste with your common sense.

I hope this would surely help us in fulfilling our dreams …to live a life less ordinary 🙂
