List of Candidates shortlisted from AFCAT 1/ 2017 held on 26 Feb 17 for the next phase of testing at Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) is annexed. Based on the induction requirements of the IAF, performance of candidates in AFCAT as well as statistics of reporting and success rates at AFSBs, the cut off marks for AFCAT 1/ 2017 is 150/ 300 for AFCAT and 60/ 150 for EKT. Only those candidates who have cleared both AFCAT and EKT will be considered for Technical Branch. All candidates may login to their account to view their individual AFCAT/ EKT Marks.
Candidates whose AFCAT Numbers figure in the list are required to login to their account and select the venue and date for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). The last date for selection of AFSB venue and date is 17 Apr 17.
Check AFCAT 1 2017 result
As per the official statement from Indian Air force official website, AFCAT 1 2017 written exam result which was conducted on 26 Feb 2017 will be published today 05 – April – 2017 anytime soon. Candidates who are waiting for the AFCAT result can check it on www.careerairforce.nic which is going to upload the list of selected candidates. Candidates who want to check their marks need to login to the portal and check it there. Candidates who have written EKT 1 2017 exam can also check their EKT result along with AFCAT.
How to Check AFCAT 1 2017 Result and Marks
- Visit www.careerairforce.nic.in by clicking on candidates login button at the bottom right.
- Enter your username and password.
- Now you can check the AFCAT 1 2017 cut off marks [official] and marks secured by you.
- Candidates who have secured more marks than cut off can click on ‘Generate Admit Card’.
- Then the candidate is required to select a convenient AFSB centre and interview date out of the given dates.
- Select your AFSB centre and interview date because every centre has some limited number of seats on a particular date which will be assigned on first come first serve basis.
