TES 51 Training

  5. Seniority: The cadets will be granted seniority based on the overall order of merit of the three technical institutes combined. In case the date of commissioning coincides with that of IMA, Dehradun, they will be placed en-block junior to IMA (NDA/ ACC / DE Course) but above TGC / UES course.

TES 51 Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for the TES 51 course consists of the following stages:

  1. Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications based on the cut-off percentage decided. Shortlisted candidates will be allotted a Selection Centre, and they will have to select their SSB dates on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage selection procedure at one of the Selection Centres – Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar. The SSB interview duration is five days, and it is followed by a medical examination for recommended candidates.

The medical examination for TES and NDA (AF and Navy) will be conducted separately. However, if a candidate is recommended for NDA before the TES SSB, they need not undergo a separate medical examination for TES.

The merit list for the TES 51 course is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate at the SSB interview. Higher educational qualifications, previous performances, NCC background, etc., do not play a role in the finalization of the merit list.
