India Coast Guard Ship Rajdoot Rescues 8 Crew Members in Swift Operation

In a display of exemplary seamanship and swift response to distress at sea, the India Coast Guard Ship Rajdoot executed a daring rescue operation, saving the lives of eight crew members aboard the distressed IFB Ajmeer-I (IND-KA-02-MM-4882) on March 20.

The vessel had encountered a major flooding incident approximately 10 nautical miles west of Kundapura, off the coast of Karnataka.

The timely intervention by the India Coast Guard Ship Rajdoot proved instrumental in averting a potential maritime disaster and ensuring the safety of the crew amidst perilous conditions at sea.

With efficiency and precision characteristic of the Coast Guard’s operational prowess, the crew of Rajdoot swiftly sprung into action upon receiving the distress call, racing against time to reach the scene of the incident.

Braving rough seas and adverse weather conditions, the gallant crew of Rajdoot executed a meticulously planned rescue operation, navigating through challenging waters to reach the distressed vessel.

Upon arrival, they wasted no time in deploying life-saving equipment and techniques to extract the stranded crew members from harm’s way, demonstrating unwavering courage and commitment to their duty.

The crew of IFB Ajmeer-I, faced with the imminent threat of flooding and potential peril, found solace and hope in the sight of Rajdoot’s arrival. As the Coast Guard vessel maneuvered alongside the distressed vessel, its crew members extended a helping hand, ensuring the safe evacuation of all eight individuals aboard the IFB Ajmeer-I.
