One of the key objectives of Exercise Lamitiye 2024 was to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Indian Army and Seychelles Defence Forces.

Throughout the duration of the exercise, personnel from both sides had the opportunity to interact closely, exchange knowledge and best practices, and build mutual trust and understanding.

The exercise also provided an invaluable platform for shared learning and capacity-building. Participants from the Seychelles Defence Forces had the opportunity to benefit from the expertise and experience of their Indian counterparts, while Indian Army personnel gained insights into the unique challenges and operational requirements of Seychelles’ maritime environment.

As the soldiers bid farewell to their counterparts and return to their respective duties, they carry with them the lessons learned and the bonds forged during Exercise Lamitiye 2024.
