Complementing the Health Kiosk is the Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyzer, a sophisticated piece of equipment capable of conducting a wide range of biochemical tests with high precision and speed.

This analyzer will facilitate detailed analysis of blood and other biological samples, enabling the medical team to diagnose and monitor various health conditions effectively. The integration of this advanced technology into the MI Room is expected to significantly enhance the medical diagnostic capabilities of the Coast Guard’s healthcare facilities.

The introduction of these advanced medical technologies is aimed at managing acute medical emergencies and conducting annual and periodic medical examinations of Indian Coast Guard personnel more efficiently.

The Health Kiosk and Biochemistry Analyzer will provide crucial support in situations requiring immediate medical attention, ensuring that personnel receive timely and accurate diagnoses and treatments.

ADG S Paramesh highlighted the importance of these advancements, stating, “The inauguration of the Health Kiosk and Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyzer marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance the healthcare services provided to our personnel.

These new facilities will ensure that our Coast Guard members receive the highest quality of medical care, both in emergencies and through regular health check-ups.”

The addition of the Health Kiosk and Biochemistry Analyzer is a part of the Indian Coast Guard’s broader initiative to improve the overall quality of health services provided to its personnel.

By incorporating advanced medical technology into its healthcare infrastructure, the Coast Guard aims to provide more accurate diagnoses, reduce the time taken for medical assessments, and improve the overall health and well-being of its members.

Shri Ajay Mishra, during his inaugural address, emphasized the critical role of robust health services in maintaining the operational readiness and effectiveness of the Coast Guard. “Ensuring the health and well-being of our personnel is paramount to the success of our missions.

The new laboratory facilities at ICGS Delhi will play a vital role in achieving this goal by providing high-quality medical care and ensuring our members are fit and healthy to perform their duties,” he said.

The inauguration of these facilities reflects the Indian Coast Guard’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its personnel. Regular medical examinations and the ability to swiftly respond to medical emergencies are crucial for maintaining the morale and operational readiness of the force.

The advanced diagnostic capabilities provided by the new equipment will enable the medical team to offer better preventive care, early detection of health issues, and more effective treatment plans.

ADG S Paramesh concluded the ceremony by reiterating the Coast Guard’s dedication to continuous improvement and modernization of its healthcare services.

He noted, “As we advance our capabilities in various operational domains, it is equally important to ensure that our personnel receive the best possible healthcare. The inauguration of these new facilities is a testament to our commitment to their health and well-being.”

The new laboratory facilities at ICGS Delhi set a benchmark for the future development of healthcare services within the Indian Coast Guard. As the organization continues to modernize and enhance its operational capabilities, the focus on providing superior health services to its personnel remains a top priority.

The successful implementation of the Health Kiosk and Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyzer is a significant step towards achieving this goal, promising a healthier and more efficient force ready to tackle the challenges of safeguarding India’s maritime interests.
