Demonstrating exceptional efficiency and commitment to maritime safety, the Indian Coast Guard’s Ship C-410 successfully executed a prompt medical evacuation of a critically ill crew member from the MV Alvin Point off the coast of Kochi. The 62-year-old patient, whose condition required immediate medical attention, was safely transferred to Renai Hospital in Ernakulam, Kochi, for further treatment.

The operation commenced when the Indian Coast Guard received a distress call from MV Alvin Point, indicating that one of their crew members was in a critical medical state. Understanding the urgency, Ship C-410 was swiftly dispatched to the vessel’s location.
