In a significant step towards enhancing maritime safety and fostering international cooperation, four specialist diving officers from the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) are participating in the Rescue Divers Diving Workshop organized by the Japan Coast Guard (JCG).

The workshop, taking place from June 3 to June 7 at the Japan Coast Guard Academy in Kure, aims to share best practices, fine-tune rescue diving skill sets, and reinforce safety management training.

The workshop is part of a cooperative arrangement between the Indian Coast Guard and the Japan Coast Guard, reflecting the strong maritime ties and mutual commitment to ensuring safe and secure seas.
