Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Surya Command, recently visited the Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area in Jabalpur. During his visit, Lt Gen Sengupta paid homage to the bravehearts who have served the nation, laying a wreath at the War Memorial in a solemn ceremony.
The Army Commander’s visit included tours of the 1 Signal Training Centre, 506 Army Base Workshop, and Central Ordnance Depot.
These stops allowed him to review the operational readiness, training, and administrative aspects of these critical military establishments.
Lt Gen Sengupta expressed his appreciation for the high standards maintained by each of the facilities. He commended the personnel for their dedication to professionalism and urged all ranks to continue striving for excellence across all domains.
