Lt Gen Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, Director General of Army Air Defence, recently visited the Blazing Skies Brigade in Jodhpur to assess the air defence capabilities supporting the operations of Desert Corps. During his visit, Lt Gen D’Cunha received a comprehensive briefing on the various air defence aspects integral to the operations conducted in the challenging desert environment.
The Director General interacted with all ranks of the brigade, gaining insights into their readiness and the challenges they face in their daily operations. He commended the troops for their dedication and vigilance in maintaining a robust air defence posture.
Emphasizing the importance of combat readiness, Lt Gen D’Cunha exhorted the brigade to maintain the highest levels of preparedness to effectively counter any aerial threats.
