AFCAT 1 2025 Registration Opens on December 2, 2024, for 336 Positions in IAF

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially announced the release of the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 notice for 2025. The registration for AFCAT 2025 is set to begin on December 2, 2024, and interested candidates will have until December 31, 2024, to submit their applications. The AFCAT 1 application form can be accessed and completed through the official website, afcat.cdac.in.

This recruitment drive is significant, offering a total of 336 vacancies across various branches, including the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, as well as special entries like the NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry programs. Specifically, the vacancies are distributed as follows: 30 positions in the Flying Branch, 189 in Ground Duty (Technical), and 117 in Ground Duty (Non-Technical).

Applicants must adhere to specific age limits for eligibility. For the Flying Branch, candidates should be between the ages of 20 and 24 on the courseโ€™s starting date, while those applying for Ground Duty must be between 20 and 26. It is also important to note that applicants must be unmarried prior to joining any of the courses.

The registration process entails a fee of Rs 550 plus GST. To streamline the application process, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website afcat.cdac.in.
2. Click on the application link for AFCAT 01/2025 found on the homepage.
3. Fill out the registration form with accurate details.
4. Access the application form by logging in with the provided credentials.
5. Complete the application, attach all necessary documents, and proceed to make the payment.
6. After submitting the application, it is advisable for candidates to save a copy for their records.

Key dates to keep in mind include the commencement of the application process on December 2, 2024, and the final date for submission and fee payment on December 31, 2024. The date for the examination will be announced soon, and admit cards for candidates will be made available for download prior to the exam.
