Indian Navy Reschedules INCET 01/2024 Exam to Last Week of November

The Indian Navy has announced an updated schedule for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET) 01/2024, moving the previously planned exam date from September 2024 to the last week of November 2024. This decision comes in response to unforeseen technical and administrative issues that necessitated the change.

According to the official notification on the Indian Navy’s recruitment website, candidates will be issued fresh admit cards shortly. This exam is a crucial gateway for candidates aspiring to secure various civilian roles within the Indian Navy. Interested applicants are advised to regularly check the official Indian Navy recruitment website for updates regarding the issuance of admit cards and other important announcements.

The recruitment drive aims to fill multiple civilian positions, highlighting a significant number of vacancies across various categories. The specific positions available include:

For candidates preparing for the exam, it is essential to be aware of the format and content of the Computer Based Test (CBT). The examination will consist of 100 questions, divided into four distinct sections: General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will carry 25 marks, emphasizing the importance of thorough preparation across all topics.

In preparation for the INCET 01/2024, candidates can download their admit cards by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website at incet.cbt-exam.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘INCET 2024’ link.
3. A new window will open, prompting candidates to click on the admit card ‘download’ link.
4. Enter the mandatory credentials and click submit.
5. The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

After the CBT, candidates will undergo further assessments, including a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Skill Test for designated positions. The final stages of the recruitment process will involve document verification and a medical examination.

With the updated schedule set for later in November, hopeful candidates are encouraged to remain vigilant and adequately prepare to capitalize on this opportunity to join the Indian Navy.
