The Indian Air Force (IAF) is dedicated to fostering talent in sports from the grassroots level. As part of this initiative, the IAF is set to conduct an Induction Rally specifically for its “Air Force Boys Sports Squadrons” in the discipline of wrestling. This event aims to scout and nurture young talents, providing them with opportunities to excel in wrestling at state, national, and international levels.
Key Details of the Induction Rally
- Objective: Admission into the Air Force Boys Sports Squadron for Wrestling.
- Facilities Offered:
- Free education up to Intermediate (10+2)
- Free lodging and boarding
- Supervised sports training by Air Force and Sports Authority of India (SAI) coaches
- Opportunities to compete in state, national, and international championships
- Eligibility Age: Boys aged 11 to 15 years as of 1st April 2025 (Born between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2014)
- Educational Requirement: Candidates must be studying in Classes 5, 6, 7, or 8 as of 1st February 2025.
- Sports Discipline: Wrestling (Greko Roman/ Free Style)
- Achievement Criteria:
- Ages 11-13: Medal winner at district level competitions or higher
- Ages 14-15: First, second, or third place in state-level competitions or participation in national tournaments, recognized by State/National Wrestling Federations

- Date: 17th to 21st February 2025
- Venue: Main Gate, ATS Belgaum, Sambra, Belagavi, Karnataka
- Reporting Time: 0800 Hrs on 17th February 2025
- Selection Trials: 0700 Hrs on 18th, 19th & 20th February 2025
- Medical Exam: 0700 Hrs onwards on 21st February 2025

- Selection is based on merit only.
- This rally is not for employment in the Indian Air Force.
