One of the key highlights of the event was the exhibition of student projects, which showcased their hands-on skills, problem-solving capabilities, and creative approaches to engineering challenges. These projects are part of CMEโ€™s practical curriculum and reflect the rigorous training provided at the institute. The college is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). It also holds an โ€˜Aโ€™ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Founded in 1943 as a training school in Roorkee and later relocated to Pune, CME has developed into a premier centre for technical and tactical education for the Indian Armyโ€™s Corps of Engineers. The institution came under full Indian command in 1932, long before its move to Pune, and has played a vital role in shaping military infrastructure development and combat engineering capability in India.

The participation of international students demonstrates CMEโ€™s expanding global reach and its contribution to strengthening military cooperation and knowledge exchange. The scroll presentation concluded with a spirit of pride and purpose, as the graduates now prepare to support military operations and infrastructure projects in both domestic and international contexts.
