Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, AVSM, VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force Maintenance Command, visited Air Force Station Prahladpur on August 29, accompanied by Mrs. Ritu Garg, President, Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional).
The couple was received by Group Captain Lokesh Kumar Mishra, VSM, Station Commander, and Mrs. Richa Mishra, President AFFWA (Local).

During the visit, Air Marshal Garg was briefed on the station’s pivotal role in logistics management of avionics and ground support equipment. He reviewed ongoing projects including inductions, overhauls, and stockholding operations, while underlining the need to adopt strategies that enhance modernization, efficiency, and process refinement. He also lauded the dedication of depot personnel, particularly their contributions to the Republic Day Parade tableaus, calling it an endeavour of both national and organizational significance.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Ritu Garg visited the Air Force School at the Depot, where she interacted with Sanginis. She urged them to actively participate in the welfare and skill development programmes initiated by AFFWA. Emphasising the importance of solidarity, she noted that AFFWA continues to play a vital role in fostering unity, mutual support, and holistic welfare among Air Force families.
