The inspection featured advanced drones, modern communication systems, and other cutting-edge equipment integral to multi-domain operations—spanning land, air, cyber, space, and electromagnetic warfare. Lt. Gen. Singh commended the brigade’s adaptability, mission-focused training, and forward-looking leadership, stressing the importance of readiness for future battlefield challenges.

With over three decades of service, Lt. Gen. Singh has commanded forces in counter-insurgency zones along the Line of Control and in difficult terrains. Since taking charge of the South Western Command in December 2023, he has pushed for modernisation and indigenous capability development, particularly in the strategically sensitive Western Indo-Pak border region.
