The Institute of Military Law (IML), New Delhi, successfully concluded the Second Senior Officers Law Course on September 24, 2025.
The course was designed for officers of Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel rank from the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Department, focusing on advanced concepts of military law, leadership, and contemporary legal challenges in the armed forces.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Major General Sandeep Kumar, Judge Advocate General of the Indian Army, who highlighted the importance of legal acumen and leadership in strengthening military justice and discipline.
Officials said the course plays a crucial role in enhancing the professional competence of JAG officers, enabling them to address complex legal issues and contribute effectively to the Armyโs operational and administrative framework.
