Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Army Commander, Western Command, carried out a detailed review of the operational preparedness of Vajra Corps during his recent visit.
During his interaction with officers and troops, the Army Commander lauded the professionalism, dedication, and high morale displayed by all ranks of the formation. He emphasised that their commitment to national security in the face of evolving challenges stands as a testament to the ethos of the Indian Army.
As part of his review, Lt Gen Katiyar also inspected the Drone Manufacturing Hub established within the Corps. The facility reflects the Armyโs push towards indigenisation, technological innovation, and integration of cutting-edge systems into operational roles.
Highlighting the importance of modern warfare readiness, the General urged all personnel to remain focused on core tasks, harness new technologies, and maintain a high state of readiness to effectively meet any contingency.
The visit reaffirmed Western Commandโs commitment to maintaining a robust operational posture along sensitive frontiers while simultaneously driving forward Indiaโs efforts towards self-reliance in defence technology.
