Major General Pankaj Malhotra, Additional Director General Military Operations (B), visited the 13 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) under Project Yojak of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and interacted with all ranks engaged in infrastructure development across Ladakh.
During the interaction, Maj Gen Malhotra lauded the officers and troops for their outstanding contribution to nation-building, particularly for executing critical road and connectivity projects in one of the most challenging terrains in the country. He praised their relentless efforts in strengthening operational readiness, supporting local communities, and enabling socio-economic growth in remote border regions.
He urged the personnel to continue performing their duties with the same dedication, vigour, and zeal, reaffirming the vital role of the BRO in shaping India’s strategic infrastructure.
The BRO, through initiatives such as Project Yojak, remains at the forefront of enhancing road connectivity in high-altitude areas, thereby boosting military preparedness, promoting tourism, and creating livelihood opportunities in Ladakh and beyond.
