Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre & Records, including 1 EME Centre, EME Records, and EME Depot Battalion.
During his visit, Maj Gen Misra commended the centre for its exceptional combat effectiveness, robust technical capabilities, and innovative training methodologies designed to meet the demands of modern warfare. He particularly appreciated the efforts undertaken to train the new generation of Agniveers known as Modern Tuskers transforming them into technically proficient and mission-ready soldiers capable of operating in technologically advanced and complex battlefield environments.
The GOC highlighted the significance of evolving training infrastructure, indigenisation efforts, and cutting-edge instructional practices in shaping future-ready soldiers.
He lauded the AOC Centreโs pivotal role in strengthening the Indian Armyโs operational capabilities by ensuring that personnel are equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and adaptability to confront emerging security challenges with confidence and professionalism.
