The Border Security Force (BSF) today held a grand flag-in ceremony at its headquarters in New Delhi to mark the successful completion of the Advance High Altitude Alpine Training and Mountaineering Expeditionโ2025. The expedition scaled four 6,000-metre-high peaks across Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, showcasing the grit and resilience of BSF personnel.
The ceremony was graced by Director General BSF, Shri Daljit Singh Chawdhary, who commended the mountaineering team for their indomitable courage and determination. The expedition also included six women personnel, underlining BSFโs commitment to gender inclusivity in challenging operational and adventure activities.
Addressing the gathering, the DG BSF emphasized the importance of physical fitness among force personnel and encouraged wider participation in sports and adventure activities to bring greater laurels to the nation and the BSF.
In recognition of the teamโs achievement, the DG announced a cash reward of โน5 lakh for the expedition members. He also assured that state-of-the-art equipment and advanced training facilities would be made available to BSF athletes excelling in various sporting disciplines.
The expedition highlights BSFโs tradition of endurance, discipline, and excellence, while inspiring the force to push new frontiers in physical and professional capability.
