In a gesture recognising long-standing dedication and exemplary service, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), felicitated three members of the Armyโs civil support staff for their invaluable contributions in maintaining the dignity and vibrancy of office spaces at South Block. The ceremony was attended by all Army Commanders.
Shri Nand Kishore, associated with the organisation for nearly four decades, along with Shri Ganesh Parihar and Shri Pinku Choudhary, each with 15 years of service, were honoured for their consistent commitment and quiet yet impactful efforts behind the scenes.
The felicitation underscores the Indian Armyโs tradition of valuing every contributor, uniformed or civilian, who upholds the organisationโs ideals of discipline, precision, and pride in service. These civil staff members, through their dedication, contribute to creating graceful, fresh, and welcoming workplace environments, ensuring the smooth functioning of Army offices day after day.
โThis recognition reflects our enduring belief that every hand behind the scenes is vital to the success of the organisation,โ the COAS remarked.
The ceremony highlighted the Armyโs commitment to appreciating excellence and dedication, fostering a culture of respect and acknowledgement for all personnel who support its mission, directly or indirectly.
