Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari, Army Commander, Eastern Command, visited the Agnirath Brigade at Solmara Military Station on October 14, 2025, to review the formation’s operational preparedness and technological advancements.

During his visit, Lt Gen Tiwari was briefed on the formation’s initiatives aimed at enhancing multi-domain resilience, long-range precision strike capabilities, and technology absorption — key enablers in modern warfare. The demonstration highlighted how the formation is adapting to emerging threats through innovation, integration, and joint operational readiness.

The Army Commander commended the Agnirath Brigade for its forward-thinking and evolutionary approach toward improving mission effectiveness and maintaining credible deterrence. He emphasized the growing importance of survivability, capability development, and technological adaptation in contemporary battlefields, particularly in the context of evolving security dynamics along India’s eastern frontiers.

Lt Gen Tiwari reiterated Eastern Command’s commitment to strengthening operational efficiency and readiness across all domains to ensure India’s defence preparedness remains future-ready and robust.
