Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Eastern Command, undertook a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness and security situation during his visit to forward posts of the Gajraj Corps and Missamari Military Station.
During his visit to the forward areas, Lt Gen Tiwari interacted with troops deployed in arduous high-altitude terrain and challenging climatic conditions. He lauded their professionalism, dedication, and tireless efforts in safeguarding Indiaโs borders, appreciating their unwavering resolve and commitment to duty under testing circumstances.
At Missamari Military Station, the Army Commander also reviewed the operational preparedness of the Blazing Sword Division and inaugurated the newly established Gajraj Drone Nursery, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to indigenous drone fabrication. He encouraged the team to develop the centre into a Force Multiplier and Centre of Excellence for Eastern Command, aimed at promoting technological innovation and self-reliance in operational domains.
