Major General G. Srinivas has officially taken charge as the Commandant of the College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad. He succeeds Lieutenant General Harsh Chhibber, who has been elevated to the post of Director General Information Systems.
Prior to his new appointment, Maj Gen Srinivas was entrusted with planning and executing operational logistics in the Western Command theatre, including during the recent Operation Sindoor, where his leadership in logistics management proved pivotal.
An alumnus of both the College of Defence Management and the National Defence College, Maj Gen Srinivas is a distinguished Gunner Officer with a decorated service career. His wide-ranging expertise spans joint operational planning, defence management, and strategic leadership. He is expected to bring this experience to shaping future leaders of the Indian Armed Forces.
