The Tank Transporter Management Course at ASC Centre & College (ASCC&C), Bengaluru, successfully culminated on 28 October 2025, marking the completion of another important chapter in enhancing the operational readiness of the Indian Armyโs logistics and mechanised transport capabilities.
The course was designed to equip ASC Officers with advanced managerial and technical skills essential for the effective command and control of Tank Transporter units โ regarded as the spinal cord of the Indian Armyโs โIron Fistโ during operations of war. The intensive training focused on the planning, execution, and maintenance aspects of tank transportation to ensure seamless mobility support to armoured formations in all terrains and combat scenarios.

The Valedictory Address was delivered by Lt Gen JK Gera, Commandant, ASCC&C, who commended the officers for their dedication and urged them to uphold the highest standards of operational preparedness. He emphasised the critical role of Tank Transporter units in ensuring the mobility and sustenance of mechanised forces, highlighting that the efficiency of logistics directly influences the success of battlefield operations.

During the ceremony, Major Nirma Choudhary was adjudged the Best Student of the course for demonstrating outstanding performance and leadership throughout the training period.
The course reaffirmed ASC Centre & Collegeโs commitment to developing professionally competent officers capable of supporting the dynamic operational requirements of the Indian Armyโs mechanised formations.
