The second phase of the Tri-Services Joint Air Defence Instructors Course commenced at the Army Air Defence College (AADC), Gopalpur, on October 13, 2025, marking another milestone in enhancing jointness and operational synergy among the Indian Armed Forces.
This phase follows the successful completion of the first phase at the Air Defence College, Memaura, and represents an advanced stage of training focused on strengthening integration across the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
A total of 12 officers from the three services are participating in this phase, where they will undergo intensive training on the concepts and employment of Army Air Defence (AAD), along with Control and Reporting (C&R) procedures. The curriculum is designed to ensure that officers gain practical exposure to joint air defence operations, enabling seamless coordination in multi-domain operational environments.
The training underscores the Indian Armed Forcesโ ongoing efforts to build a cohesive and interoperable air defence network, capable of responding swiftly to emerging aerial threats.
