The Grand Finale of THINQ-25, the Indian Navy’s flagship national quiz competition, concluded with remarkable enthusiasm and spirited participation at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on November 5, 2025. The event was graced by Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Themed “MAHASAGAR”, this year’s edition celebrated India’s maritime legacy and the Navy’s commitment to nurturing curiosity, knowledge, and innovation among the nation’s youth. From thousands of participating schools across India, 16 teams representing all four zones — North, South, East, and West — advanced to the semi-finals, with eight of them reaching the prestigious Grand Finale.

The final round saw an intense battle of intellect and teamwork among top schools including Jayshree Periwal High School (Jaipur), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Kannur), Subodh Public School (Jaipur), Shiksha Niketan (Jamshedpur), Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (Chennai), Cambridge Court High School (Jaipur), Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre (Kanpur), and PM Shri JNV (Samastipur).
After a gripping contest, Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur emerged as the Champions, while PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Samastipur secured the Runners-Up position, earning widespread applause for their stellar performance.

Addressing the gathering, Admiral Tripathi commended the young minds for their energy, curiosity, and awareness about India’s maritime traditions. He encouraged students to continue exploring new ideas and innovations, stressing that such initiatives reflect the Navy’s broader vision of fostering intellectual growth and maritime consciousness among future generations.
The Grand Finale was live-streamed on the Indian Navy’s official YouTube and Facebook platforms, drawing enthusiastic participation and viewership from schools, naval establishments, and maritime enthusiasts across the nation.
With the successful conclusion of THINQ-25, the Indian Navy reaffirmed its commitment to engaging India’s youth in the spirit of learning and exploration. The Navy also announced plans for THINQ-26, promising an even broader and more inspiring platform for students to test their knowledge, teamwork, and passion for the seas.
