Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness and readiness of formations stationed at the Kishanganj Military Camp during his recent visit. He was accompanied by senior commanders, including the General Officer Commanding of Brahmastra Corps, 111 Area, and the Trinetra Division.
During the visit, Lt Gen Tiwari was briefed on ongoing operational deployments, infrastructure development, and the readiness status of forward units positioned along critical sectors in the Eastern theatre. The review also covered coordination mechanisms between formations to ensure seamless operational response and logistical efficiency under varied operational scenarios.

Interacting with the troops, the Army Commander commended their professionalism, dedication, and high morale, noting that their unwavering commitment to duty plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the nationโs frontiers. He emphasised the importance of sustaining peak combat readiness, technological adaptation, and continuous training to counter evolving security challenges.

Lt Gen Tiwari lauded the collective efforts of the Brahmastra Corps and its affiliated formations for their exemplary standards of discipline and operational excellence. He also reiterated the Indian Armyโs focus on improving living conditions, welfare facilities, and infrastructure to enhance overall combat efficiency and troop motivation.
