Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited North Kashmir to review the anti-infiltration grid and assess the overall operational preparedness of the formations deployed along the Line of Control (LoC).

During his visit, the Army Commander interacted with officers and troops on the ground, commending their unwavering professionalism, enhanced surveillance measures, and precision strike capabilities that ensure a robust defensive posture in the region.
Lt Gen Sharma appreciated the troops for maintaining a high level of operational alertness and for their dedication to safeguarding the nationโs borders amid evolving security challenges.

He also emphasized the importance of leveraging emerging technologies for real-time intelligence and surveillance, strengthening Indiaโs counter-infiltration mechanisms along the LoC.
