Officer Cadets of the 157 Regular, 140 Technical Graduate Course (TGC), 55 Special Commission Officers (SCO) course and 46 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course, who will be commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery on 13 December 2025, were felicitated with accoutrements during a special ceremony.
Maj Gen Rajender Prakash, VSM (Retd), graced the event as the chief guest and addressed the young cadets. In his inspiring remarks, he urged them to lead from the front as they prepare to join various units of the Regiment of Artillery—proudly known as the “Arm of Decision.” He emphasised the importance of discipline, leadership, and professional excellence in their forthcoming roles.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Veteran Gunner Officers, who blessed and encouraged the cadets as they prepare to embark on their military journey. Their words of wisdom added emotional significance and instilled confidence among the soon-to-be-commissioned officers.
The event marked an important milestone for the cadets, symbolising their transition from trainees to commissioned officers, ready to serve the nation with honour, grit, and determination.
