Surgeon Vice Admiral Kavita Sahai, SM, VSM, Director General Medical Services (Navy), conducted a two-day visit to INS Adyar, Headquarters Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Naval Area, and other naval establishments in Chennai on 26–27 November 2025. The visit focused on strengthening coordination, medical preparedness, and overall integration within the naval community.
During the tour, the Admiral also visited the Military Hospital and the Coast Guard Air Station in Chennai. She interacted with officers, sailors, and medical staff, appreciating their professionalism, dedication, and leadership in maintaining high standards of operational and medical readiness.
Her visit underlined the Indian Navy’s commitment to enhancing joint functioning, promoting welfare initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence across all units.
