Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Fire and Fury Corps, reviewed the operational preparedness of units deployed in the high-altitude areas of Ladakh, assessing their readiness to operate in one of the most challenging operational environments.

As part of the review, the units successfully undertook a four-day Validation Exercise, during which they demonstrated a high level of combat readiness, unit cohesion, and operational effectiveness. The exercise also highlighted the troopsโ ability to rapidly absorb and employ new-generation battlefield technologies, enhancing their overall combat potential.

The GOC commended all ranks for their professionalism, adaptability, and high standards of training, noting the troopsโ resilience and preparedness to meet evolving operational challenges in high-altitude terrain.

He urged the formations to maintain the momentum of operational excellence, continue innovation and technological integration, and remain fully prepared to safeguard national interests in the strategically important Ladakh sector.
