Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of Indian Army troops deployed in the Tagyarmale Sector of Eastern Ladakh, a critical area along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
During his visit to the forward areas, the Army Commander assessed the operational posture, surveillance mechanisms, logistics sustainment, and combat readiness of formations operating in the challenging high-altitude terrain. He was briefed on measures undertaken to maintain round-the-clock vigilance and preparedness amid extreme weather and rugged Himalayan conditions.

Lt Gen Sharma expressed profound pride in the troops for their exemplary professionalism, steadfast resolve, and selfless devotion to national security. Interacting with soldiers at forward posts, he lauded their resilience, high morale, and unwavering commitment to duty, describing them as a symbol of the Indian Armyโs indomitable spirit.
