The second edition of the joint military exercise DESERT CYCLONE–II between the Indian Army and the UAE Land Forces successfully concluded at Al-Hamra Training City, reaffirming the deepening defence partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates.
The exercise underscored the shared commitment of both nations towards regional peace, security, and stability, while enhancing mutual trust and operational cooperation between their armed forces.

Focus on Interoperability and Joint Operations
DESERT CYCLONE–II featured intensive field-simulated training, including:

- Heliborne insertion and extraction missions
- Integrated joint drills conducted under a United Nations mandate
