Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, awarded the prestigious Golden Wings to 16 graduating pilots of the 105th Helicopter Conversion Course (HCC) during an impressive passing-out parade held on 9 December at INS Rajali, the Indian Navyโs premier naval air station.

Addressing the newly commissioned aviators, the Navy Commander congratulated them on successfully completing their rigorous training and joining the elite and demanding rotor-wing fleet of the Naval Air Arm. He lauded their determination, professional excellence, and readiness to take on operational roles in some of the most challenging maritime environments.

The 16 pilots, now formally inducted as naval helicopter aircrew, will proceed to frontline units of the Indian Navy. They will undertake critical missions including maritime surveillance, search and rescue (SAR), anti-piracy patrols, and a spectrum of other operational deployments essential to Indiaโs maritime security.

The ceremony reflected the Navyโs continued focus on strengthening its airborne capabilities and preparing its young aviators for multi-domain operational challenges across the Indo-Pacific.
