The Indian Army has launched the Depot Integration Management Edition (DIME), a pan-Army digital platform designed to deliver near real-time visibility of logistics itemsโfrom unit level to Army Headquartersโmarking a significant leap in the modernisation of military logistics.
Developed jointly by the Indian Army and BISAG-N, DIME standardises digital workflows across all depots and units, replacing legacy processes with an integrated, data-driven system. The platform equips commanders with consolidated dashboards, automated exception alerts, and predictive stock analytics to enable proactive and informed logistics decision-making.

According to officials, DIME will dramatically streamline logistics operations by cutting paperwork by around 70%, compressing the logistics cycle time by nearly one-third, and providing near real-time asset visibility across the entire logistics ecosystem. The automated processes are expected to improve accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability at every level.
By operationalising end-to-end digital tracking and analytics, DIME strengthens commandersโ ability to anticipate demand, manage inventories efficiently, and respond swiftly to operational requirements. The rollout aligns with the Armyโs broader push toward technology-enabled transformation, enhancing readiness and sustainment through smarter, faster, and more transparent logistics management.
The launch of DIME underscores the Indian Armyโs commitment to leveraging indigenous digital solutions to build a resilient, agile, and future-ready logistics backbone in support of operations across diverse theatres.
